The Art of Play is a Yoga Retreat for adults who are tired of wearing too many hats, and carrying the mental load of it all.
For those who are craving a little more colour, breath, laughter, and freedom in their own lives.

This is a space where movement feels joyful, rest is guilt-free, and play isn’t just allowed — it’s encouraged.

Created by Mollie Cox, founder of Jala Yoga, this retreat blends 17+ years of experience in the wellness space of trauma-informed yoga, somatic ad mental health education, and holistic wellness to offer a space where your nervous system can finally exhale.

Set on 170 acres of lush, private paradise, you'll move gently between yoga, mindfulness, creative exploration, dancing, painting and spacious time in nature — leaving you grounded, recharged, and connected back to what really matters.

I came into this retreat with a craving to unplug for a bit and reconnect to my feminine, embodied self - and it delivered. Every part of it was just magic. The floristry workshop was such a fun and unexpected highlight, the food was next-level, and the sound healing was so grounding. I loved the mix of different facilitators and the whole venue was just stunning. What stood out most was how spacious the whole experience felt. There was this beautiful balance of structure and freedom, with space to dip in and out of whatever called to us. Nothing felt forced - it was all offered with so much warmth and care. I especially loved having a free afternoon to just be. It all felt so supportive, like a little family. Huge love to Mollie and the rest of the team - you somehow managed to make time stretch in the best way, and I left feeling nourished, connected, and so grateful.
