Jala Yoga® Business Collective

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 29 October 2026

These terms are written to be read, not skimmed past. They explain what you are joining, what we promise you, what we ask of you, and what happens if things change. If anything is unclear, please ask before you enrol.

Looking for refunds? Jump straight to cancellation, pausing and refunds.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

1.1
The Jala Yoga® Business Collective (the Collective) is run by Jala Yoga & Counselling Pty Ltd (Jala Yoga®, we, us), based in Queensland and registered for GST. Mollie Cox leads the Collective as mentor and facilitator.
1.2
You means the person who enrols. These terms, including the cancellation, pausing and refunds section, and our Privacy Policy together form the agreement between you and us (the Agreement). By completing checkout or paying an invoice, you agree to them.
1.3
These terms cover the Foundation (Months 1 to 6, January to June 2027) and the Continuation (Months 7 to 12, July to December 2027). The Collective Circle, which begins in 2028, will have its own terms.
1.4
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply. Nothing in this Agreement excludes, restricts or changes a right or remedy that the law says can't be excluded.

2. Who can join

2.1
The Collective is a closed programme for graduates of the Jala Yoga® 350hr Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Training. You are a graduate once you have met all the training requirements and your certificate has been issued.
2.2
We confirm your graduation against our records before your access starts. If we can't confirm it by Monday 11 January 2027, we will talk with you and either hold your place for the next intake or give you a full refund, whichever you prefer.
2.3
Your place is personal to you and can't be shared. If you can't take up your place, talk to us. With our agreement, you may be able to pass it to another eligible Jala graduate.
2.4
Everyone starts with the Foundation. There is no mid-year entry. The Continuation is open to members who complete the Foundation, which means being enrolled and paid up to the end of Month 6. Attendance is not a condition.
2.5
If not enough people enrol for the group to work well, we may decide not to run the intake. If that happens, we will tell you before Monday 11 January 2027 and refund everything you have paid.

3.4
Session dates are published on the sales page and in the portal. The Foundation starts with the onboarding call on Monday 11 January 2027 at 6:30pm Queensland time.

4. How long you have access

4.1
You can access the Foundation portal content and recordings until 31 December 2027, whether or not you go on to the Continuation.
4.2
If you join the Continuation, you can access its content and recordings until 30 June 2028. Collective Circle members keep access to all content while they are in the Circle.
4.3
The portal opens by Monday 11 January 2027. Live calls, meditations, pods, the Co-working Room and 1:1s run only during the block you have paid for.

5. Payments

5.1
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. You will receive a receipt from Kajabi at checkout, and a tax invoice is available on request.
5.2
At checkout you can pay in full or in two payments. With two payments, the first is taken when you enrol and the second is taken automatically one month later, using the same card.
5.3
Manual invoice. If paying upfront or in two payments is a barrier, email mollie@jalayoga.co and ask to pay by manual invoice for the option you would like. We will agree a plan with you in writing and invoice through Xero. The total is the pay-in-full price of your option, fully paid by 1 June 2027 for the Foundation, or 1 December 2027 for the Continuation.
5.4
The Foundation and the Continuation are each a separate 6-month block, paid separately. Prices quoted are for the 2027 blocks. Tell us by 31 May 2027 if you would like to continue, and which option you choose. Your first Continuation payment is due by 30 June 2027.
5.5
Choosing two payments or a manual invoice is an agreement to pay the full price of the block. It is not a monthly membership that can be stopped at any time.

6. If a payment doesn't go through

6.1
If a payment fails, Kajabi may retry it and we will contact you. Please update your card or get in touch.
6.2
We don't charge late fees or interest. If money is tight, tell us early. We would much rather set up a manual invoice than lose you.
6.3
If the payment is still unpaid 14 days after we contact you, and we haven't agreed another plan, we will pause your access until it is paid. The amount stays owing as part of your block, and we will keep working with you on a way to pay it.

7. Early bird

7.1
Enrol between 31 October and 30 November 2026 and use the code EARLYBIRD at checkout to save $50 on any option. The offer applies to the Foundation (2027 intake) only.
7.2
On the two-payment option, the $50 comes off your first payment. If you pay in full, it comes off the total price. The code has to be entered at checkout and can't be added after you have paid. One code per enrolment.
7.3
From 1 to 31 December 2026, full prices apply. Any refund is based on what you actually paid.

8. Cancellation, pausing and refunds

We want you to say yes because the timing is right, and to know where you stand if life changes. This section applies to each 6-month block: the Foundation and the Continuation.

8.1
Cooling-off period. You have 14 days from your first payment for each 6-month block to cancel for any reason. We will refund what you have paid for that block and cancel any payment still to come.
8.2
After the cooling-off period. Enrolling is a commitment to the full 6-month block, whichever way you pay. Fees for the block aren't refundable for a change of mind, and the second payment (or any remaining invoice amount) is still due.
8.3
If your circumstances change, please talk to us. You don't need to prove anything. We will listen, and work out together what is possible, such as a pause, deferring your place or a different payment plan.
8.4
Pausing. Business is built by humans, and humans have hard seasons. You can pause for up to two months in a block, and your place is held. You don't need to explain why. Email mollie@jalayoga.co with the months you would like to pause, and we will let your pod know you are taking a break, sharing only what you are comfortable with. A pause doesn't extend your block, and your payments stay on their usual schedule. Recordings and portal content stay available. Mentorship 1:1s for paused months are held, and you can use them later in the same block.
8.5
Deferring. If you have paid for the block, you can defer your place to the next year's round instead, once. What you have paid goes towards the same option in that round.
8.6
Changing option. You can add Nervous System support at any time, or change option at the Continuation.
8.7
If Jala Yoga cancels or can't deliver. If we cancel before the block starts, we refund everything you have paid. If we can't deliver part of the block, you get a refund for the part not delivered, or credit if you prefer. If we make a change that significantly reduces what you paid for, you can choose credit or a refund for the affected part.
8.8
Your consumer rights. Nothing in this section takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded. If something we provide has a major problem, you are entitled to a remedy, which may include a refund.
8.9
How to ask. Email mollie@jalayoga.co with the subject line "Collective refund request" (or "pause" or "defer"). We will reply within 5 business days, and process any refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.

9. 1:1 sessions

9.1
Mentorship members have one private 60-minute 1:1 with Mollie each month, online, booked through Cliniko on a weekday. You can use it for whatever supports you most: a business brainstorm, Q&A, planning, practice, or supervision on a client case. Somatic Experiencing-informed work is one path you can choose.
9.2
Rollover. If you don't use a month's session, one unused session can roll over once, into the following month. A rolled-over session can't roll over again, and it needs to be used within the same block.
9.3
Changing a booking. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. With less notice, or if you don't attend, the session counts as used. Life happens, so your first late change in each block is waived.
9.4
One-off member 1:1s need the same 24 hours' notice. With less notice, or if you don't attend, the full fee applies.
9.5
If Mollie needs to cancel, we will rebook you. You never lose a session because of a change on our side.

10. Recordings, privacy and confidentiality

10.1
Monthly group calls and live meditations are recorded so members can watch later. Recordings are shared only in the Collective portal with members of your intake. Peer supervision is recorded only if everyone taking part agrees; otherwise we pause the recording for that part of the call. Breakout rooms and the Co-working Room are not recorded.
10.2
Cameras are always optional. You can use a first name or a different display name, mute, use the chat, or step away at any time.
10.3
What members share in the Collective stays in the Collective. You agree not to share another member's story, business details or identity outside the group.
10.4
You must not record, screenshot, download or share any call, recording, community post or portal content, unless we have given you permission in writing.
10.5
When you bring a question about a client interaction, please remove anything that could identify the client. You remain responsible for your own privacy and professional obligations to your clients.
10.6
We keep what you share confidential, except where we believe there is a serious risk to someone's safety, or where the law requires us to share it. If that happens, we will talk with you first where it is safe to do so.
10.7
We handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and our Privacy Policy, available on our website. We use Kajabi, Zoom, Cliniko and Xero to run the Collective, and some of these may store information outside Australia. We will only use your name, words or image in marketing with your separate written consent.

11. Community agreements

11.1
The Collective is built on safety, respect and consent. Every member agrees to:
  1. treat each other with care, and speak about experiences rather than judging people;
  2. honour different ways of communicating, processing and taking part, including cameras off, chat instead of voice, movement, stimming and time to think;
  3. ask before giving advice or feedback, and respect a "no";
  4. respect other members' ideas and business work, and not copy or use them without permission;
  5. not sell to, recruit or promote services to other members without their invitation; and
  6. not engage in harassment, discrimination, bullying or any conduct that harms another person.
11.2
If something doesn't feel right, please tell Mollie. We will listen and respond with care.
11.3
If a member's conduct causes harm, we will usually talk with them first, then give a written warning if it continues. For serious harm, such as harassment, discrimination, threats or sharing recordings or confidential stories, we may suspend or remove the member straight away.
11.4
If we remove you, we will explain why in writing and refund the full months left in your block, pro-rata.

12. Intellectual property

12.1
All Collective materials, including videos, worksheets, planning tools, missions, meditations, recordings, frameworks and the structure of the programme (Jala Materials), belong to Jala Yoga®, or to the people who licensed them to us.
12.2
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Jala Materials to learn and to plan and run your own business. You must not copy, sell, share, teach, adapt or publish them, or use them to create a programme that is the same as or substantially similar to the Collective, without our written permission.
12.3
Your work is yours. Your business name, brand, offerings, client avatars, content, pricing and anything else you create for your business belong to you. Joining the Collective doesn't give us any rights in it.
12.4
If you share feedback or ideas with us, we can use them to improve the Collective. We won't publish your words or identify you without your consent.

13. What the Collective is and isn't

13.1
The Collective is business mentorship and education. It is not therapy, counselling, crisis support or clinical treatment, even though Mollie is a registered counsellor and the programme includes nervous system and SE-informed practices.
13.2
Peer supervision and case discussion in the Collective do not replace any clinical or professional supervision your profession or registration requires.
13.3
Content about legal, admin, money, funding and grants is for literacy and education. It is not legal, financial, tax or accounting advice. Please speak to a qualified professional about your own situation.
13.4
We can't promise any particular business results or income. Your outcomes depend on many things outside our control. You remain responsible for your own business decisions, insurance, registrations and compliance.
13.5
If you are finding things hard, please reach out to your own support. In an emergency call 000. You can call Lifeline on 13 11 14 (24 hours) or text 0477 13 11 14, Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636, 13YARN on 13 92 76 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, or QLife on 1800 184 527 for LGBTIQ+ support.

14. Accessibility and adjustments

14.1
We want the Collective to work for every kind of brain and body. You can ask for adjustments at any time, such as captions, written versions of instructions, extra processing time, different ways to take part in calls, or support with the platforms.
14.2
You don't need to share a diagnosis to ask. We will make reasonable adjustments where we can, and talk with you honestly if something isn't possible.

15. Changes to the programme

15.1
We may need to change dates, times, content, platforms or the order of themes. We will give you at least 7 days' notice where we can, and recordings will be available for any call that moves.
15.2
If a change significantly reduces what you paid for, or we cancel or can't deliver part of the programme, clause 8.7 applies.
15.3
We may update these terms for future blocks. We won't change them during your current block in a way that disadvantages you, unless the law requires it.

16. Responsibility and liability

16.1
Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. We will provide them with due care and skill.
16.2
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, including lost income or business opportunities, arising from your membership or your business decisions.
16.3
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the current block. Where the law permits, our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
16.4
Nothing in this clause limits liability that the law says can't be limited, including for our own negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct.
16.5
Take part in somatic and meditation practices only in ways that feel right for you. You can stop, adapt or step away at any time.

17. Ending your membership

17.1
You can leave at any time by emailing us. Payments and refunds follow section 8.
17.2
We may end your membership if you seriously or repeatedly breach this Agreement, as set out in sections 6 and 11.
17.3
When your membership ends, your access to live sessions, pods and the community ends. Sections 10 (confidentiality), 12 (intellectual property) and 16 (liability) continue to apply.

18. Complaints and contact

18.1
If something isn't right, please tell us at mollie@jalayoga.co. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and aim to resolve it within 20 business days.
18.2
If we can't resolve it together, we will try mediation before anything else. Each of us pays our own costs.
18.3
You can also contact the Queensland Office of Fair Trading or the ACCC at any time. Nothing in this Agreement stops you from leaving an honest review.

19. General

19.1
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and both of us can take matters to the courts of Queensland.
19.2
If any part of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, that part is removed and the rest continues to apply.
19.3
If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up.
19.4
We may send notices to the email address you gave at enrolment. You can send notices to mollie@jalayoga.co.
