Yoga for Flood Relief : A (trauma informed) resource made for those impacted

This course was made, with love, by Mollie of Jala Yoga and a few of the Jala Yoga 350hr Teacher Training graduates. 

It is specifically for anyone who has been impacted by the recent floods on the East Coast of Australia - financially, physically, mentally and emotionally. 

This resource is trauma informed, and designed to have something for everyone, regardless of physical capacity and Yoga experience. 

Each of the classes is taught by qualified trauma informed practitioners, Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists.

  • Breath - 
    • Buzzing Breath with Gentle Movement with Claudine (w/ Chair Yoga Options) [25 min]
    • Alternate Nostril Breathing with Claudine [5min]
  • Guided Meditation - 
    • Loving Kindness with Sam [10 min]
    • Progressive Relaxation with Sam [15 min]
    • Mindfulness Meditation with Claudine [16 min]
    • Your Inner Resource with Mollie [5 min]
  • Bloopers Reel (just for a laugh)

 

* Please note that this course is not a substitute for therapy, and should be used in conjunction to seeing a Psychologist, Counsellor, Social Worker or other mental health professional trained in supporting the process of grief, loss and trauma recovery.
