A free guided Progressive Muscle Relaxation practice
Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) is one of the most well-studied somatic practices in the modern evidence base. It works by deliberately tensing and releasing specific muscle groups in sequenceĀ - not to perform calm, but to give the body a structured experience of letting go.
Research continues to associate regular PMR practice with reduced markers of acute stress and anxiety, lower resting blood pressure, and improved sleep onset (Toussaint et al., 2021).
This recording was made for people whose nervous systems have a harder time finding the way back from activationĀ - including, but not limited to, neurodivergent adults, people with histories of trauma, and helping professionals carrying the weight of other people's nervous systems all day.
